Dr Irene Teo is a Paediatrician with a diverse background in medical education and practice. Having graduated from Royal Free and University College London in 2005, she continued to complete specialised training in various medical disciplines in renowned London hospitals before joining KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 2006. She has since focused on general paediatrics, ranging from aspects of newborn and well-baby screening to the management of common childhood illnesses. Along with a passion for paediatric dermatology, Dr Irene Teo frequently participates in local and international conferences to stay up to date with advancements in the field.
Her dedication to paediatrics is evident in her pursuit of postgraduate degrees from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2013. She also received her accreditation as a Specialist in Paediatrics Medicine from the Specialist Accreditation Board in 2016, along with Fellowship status from the Academy of Medicine Singapore. In addition to her clinical duties, she actively contributes to medical education by serving as a Clinical Lecturer at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and as a Physician Faculty Member for the SingHealth Residency Programme.
